Notes from the Principal’s Office, Mr. Tom Baker
I think it is appropriate to begin this article with the following quote from Walt Disney: “All our dreams can come true – if we have the courage to pursue them.” This is especially true at the beginning of the year, but throughout the year as well. This is not only true for the seniors who will be who will be moving on with their lives once they walk across the stage in June, but also for those students who have just begun seventh grade. It is important to never let go of those dreams that you have.
It is also important to realize that not everyone has the same dreams within the same grade level or possibly within the same class. These dreams can take you to faraway places or keep you close to home. These dreams can lead you to the military, to college, to work, or to a family. These dreams may also change over time depending on age and experiences. These are your dreams that are unique to you. These dreams have the ability to shape the rest of your life.
With all of that being said, the most important advice that I can give any student in the building is to never let go of your dreams, because you never know where they will take you.
